      Tegan Smith

      Co-Founder

My name is Tegan Smith, and though you may not see me, I’m a quiet force behind the soulful machine that is Godzspeed. As Co-Founder, I make tough decisions, help navigate our path, and support our team in building legacies that shape the world.

Godzspeed is bigger than marketing. It’s a chapter in my family’s beautiful story—a journey marked by grit, grace, and growth. It’s where we unearth hidden truths within organizations, uncover brand identities, and connect leaders, teams, stakeholders, and audiences with a purpose that allows them to raise their sail™, realize new possibilities, and grow.

With a B.A. in Communications from the University of Ottawa and a love for words that runs soul-deep, I published my first book, Small Talk: A Periodical in Prose, in 2019. Writing poetry allows me to dive into the depths of chaos and mess and emerge with something worthwhile and meaningful.

I believe in listening before speaking, thinking before acting, and doing all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13). Joy looks like Toni Morrison’s The Source of Self-Regard, Bob Marley on repeat, and spending time with my family.

This legacy we’re building? It’s for our children, their children, and the dreamers still to come.
