      Community Foundations of Canada

      A NATIONWIDE FILM SERIES CAPTURING AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY STORIES TO SHOWCASE THE IMPACT AND HEART OF THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF CANADA.

      Telling the impact of the Community Foundation of Canada through authentic, nationwide stories that bring their mission to life.

      During the pandemic, the Community Foundation of Canada funded numerous impactful projects across the nation, creating positive change in various communities.

      However, they faced a significant challenge: effectively telling the story of their impact. Donors, stakeholders, and the general public needed to see and feel how their investments were making a difference, but the foundation struggled to present these stories in a compelling and engaging way.

      To solve this, we embarked on a nationwide journey with our film team, capturing authentic stories from the communities impacted by the foundation's work.

      We started with meaningful discovery meetings to understand the full scope of their impact over the past few years. From there, we developed a cohesive production strategy and narrative arc that would translate into powerful film concepts. Our team traveled to different regions of Canada, interviewing individuals and organizations who had been directly touched by the foundation's contributions. We crafted a series of films that not only showcased the foundation’s efforts but also highlighted the heart and soul of the people involved. The result was a compelling, emotional, and visually stunning narrative that deeply resonated with audiences. By sharing these stories, the Community Foundation of Canada successfully demonstrated their impact, strengthened their connection with donors, and inspired continued support for their mission.
