“It didn’t matter what labels people might put on me outside of camp — when I came here, I could just be me.”

Both campers and counsellors share their stories of growth. We rooted IAWAH’s film in story. It’s not just shown to you — it takes you on a journey. Continuous movement embraces the ideology and inclusiveness of Keep on Growing. We used visuals of intimate moments and collective experiences to capture the unique soul of IAWAH.

A website blossoming with video.

We did something we’d never done before: we made every page bloom with videos. Scrolling over imagery on the website delivers an extraordinary experience; it comes alive. We took something ordinary, like photography, and added something extra, like video, to bring it to life. We used quieter visual effects and reduced saturation to tell the inclusive stories, moments, and experiences of IAWAH in optimistic ways.

When having fun is a byproduct.

IAWAH needed a soul cry to spread the seeds of their message, and plant deep roots within everyone who hears it. It had to be more than just a philosophy. It had to be active and alive. It needed to symbolize a belief that bound them together while also paying homage to the lush green natural world IAWAH sits in. They needed an anthem to express to everyone that IAWAH is a place of growth, life, and transformation.

Today, whether in their tuck shop, their cafeteria, or their main hall, everyone at IAWAH will tell you: We’re the only place in the world where you can “Keep on Growing.”

We dove into exciting discovery with our friends at IAWAH to harvest the essence their soul. Together, we unearthed that personal growth is their ultimate goal for everyone involved.

Brand Design

Gardeners of the human soul.

Growth happens from the ground up — their look is subdued and rich with earth tones. Soulful imagery was critical to embrace IAWAH’s purpose of unique spiritual growth for each individual, regardless of personal philosophy. The look and feel was cultivated from the Keep on Growing ethos.

The visuals are darker and more cinematic to shift the focus from traditional camp imagery to telling story and revealing moments of growth. IAWAH’s photography sets them apart with their soul and substance, while also capturing their spirit of fun.

We designed and created a variety of print collateral that stayed true to IAWAH’s ethos of Keep on Growing. More importantly, after we helped them embrace their identity, IAWAH was able to create their own designs that captured the collective nature of their brand in authentic ways.

Iawah’s Got Soul

IAWAH is a Christian camp and conference centre that helps both youth and adults become ambassadors of Christ. It stands for In All Ways Acknowledge Him. For over 60 years, they’ve been in the business of personal growth. Together, we created a unified message to help grow their brand while staying authentic to their core beliefs and values.
